Angela Vanker

Executive Director, GMP Network

Angela Vanker has over 15 years of experience working with and advocating for physician practices. She served as the Director of Practice Transformation at Alliance Health, where she designed and implemented integrated care teams in primary care, including care management and behavioral health. She also served as a Director of Quality Initiatives at MPRO, a quality improvement service provider for the State of Michigan. Angela received her Masters of Public Health from SUNY-Albany School of Public Health in 2005 and her Bachelors of Science from Lyman Briggs School at Michigan State University in 2003.

James C. Martin, D.O.

Medical Director

Graduated from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical School in 2002. Joined GMPN in 2012 as Medical Director in charge of the Blue Care Network contract. Dr. James Martin is board certified in Family Medicine and practices in Shelby Township. He has experience being an employed physician for ten years as part of the Henry Ford Health System and as a private practice physician since 2016.

Bruce Kelly

Business Operations Director

Bruce Kelly comes to GMP Network with many years of healthcare IT and financial experience previously serving as CIO of POH Medical Center (now McLaren Oakland) and Mercy Memorial Hospital System (now ProMedica Monroe). In Bruce’s previous roles he has been responsible for the implementation and optimization of hundreds of computer applications including hospital and ambulatory EMR systems.

Orchid Beatty

Director, Clinical Operations

Orchid Beatty has been a member of GMP Network since 2008 supporting the organization practices with clinical integration activities, education and support service needs.

Terri Howell

Business Operations Manager

Terri Howell is an accomplished professional with 16 years of medical billing experience and she became a Certified Outpatient Coder in April 2017. Terri is also a member of AAPC and belongs to the Macomb Township chapter. Terri became a Certified Documentation Expert Outpatient in May 2019 and a Certified Compliance Officer in April 2022.

Salvatore Palmeri

Data Analyst

Salvatore (Sam) Palmeri graduated from Oakland University in Rochester MI with a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science in 1982 and has since worked in Information Technology doing application development, web development and data analysis. Working mainly within automotive IT industry for 30 years, he transitioned to the health care IT industry in 2012 when he joined GMPN’s Data Analytics department

Amecia Matthews

Clinical Integration Coordinator

Amecia Neal has over seven years of experience as a certified medical assistant. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Kaplan University.

Jason Wrobel

Business Analyst

Jason Wrobel has 12 years of experience in health insurance working with membership, claims and benefits. He has a Bachelor of Arts and Green Belt in Six Sigma from the University of Michigan.

Amber Bartoli

Executive Assistant / Enrollment Coordinator

Amber Bartoli graduated from Oakland University in Rochester MI with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She has over 15 years of administrative experience and transitioned from the legal field to GMP Network in July 2019.

Amanda Steier, MA

Care Management Coordinator

Amanda studied nursing at the TEC center during her high school years and became a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2007. Amanda worked as a CNA at a skilled nursing facility for 7 years. After graduating high school, she continued to study nursing at St. Clair Community College. She attended a career training center in 2013 becoming a Cardio Phlebotomy Technician and a Clinical Laboratory Assistant. She is nationally certified in Telemetry and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. Amanda became a Certified Medical Assistant in 2014. She has spent her career working in outpatient clinics specializing in care management, adult medicine, geriatric medicine and neurology. Amanda is part of the Care Management team and is ready to assist patients with their health concerns.

Monica Brydges

Clinical Quality Coordinator

Monica Brydges graduated from Madonna University with a degree in Health Sciences concentrated in Population Health. Monica has experience working within a managed care organization working with their Medicare population.

Melissa Slater

Community Health Worker

Melissa Slater is a 2007 Graduate of Baker College, Medical Administration Program. In 2008 she was certified as a CPC through AAPC. She gained experience working in OBGYN, Family Medicine, and Chiropractic Care. She worked as an Adjunct Faculty member with Baker College in the Medical Coding Program. She has 15 years’ experience in General Business Management. In 2021, she married her experiences in Education, Business Leadership, and Medical Administration and obtained her Certification in Community Health Work through MICHWA.

Aleksandra Vucevski Petrovski

Quality Informatics Analyst

Aleksandra Vucevski Petrovski graduated from Oakland University with her master's degree in Public Health in 2020. She has population health experience working on a local government level and with a FQHC in Detroit.

Shannon Hill

Clinical Quality Coordinator

Shannon Hill is a certified medical assistant with six years of experience in a healthcare office setting, the last two of which she spent as a practice manager for an internal medicine office. She has both a Bachelor’s and Master of Public Health from Southern New Hampshire University.

Tara Pittman, LMSW

Behavioral Health Specialist

Tara Pittman graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Health Sciences in 2011. She pursued her passion by obtaining her Master’s Degree in Social Work, specializing in Mental Health and Substance Abuse. Tara has diverse experiences across various healthcare and social service settings, highlighting her adaptability and unwavering dedication to helping others. Her previous roles include case management in a hospital setting and legal setting, emergency department crisis screens, individual and group therapy on an inpatient, partial program and outpatient setting, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Her commitment to making a difference in people’s lives is evident in her versatile roles and ongoing pursuit of assisting others in different capacities.
